Villains
Mr. Freeze: One of my favorite villains from the Animated series of the 90's. Despite the wonderfully awful portrail of him in the film Batman and Robin, He is an intense, deeply tortured figure, longing to save his wife from perpetual death
Villains
Joker: I like the concept of this character. One of the most iconic villans around. I wanted to show the collected calm yet crazy in this painting.
Villains
Hi.I've been away for a while. Busy at a job I can't talk about. I have also been lock out of my blogs for a while. But sorted now. Here are a few rough sketches of some loosely painted characters from the Batman Franchise. I've also included a colour design test sheet to show what the colour scheme might turn out like.

Asset Style test
Here are 2 game assets that I had to create for a test. One was a Pagan Altar for an Island god game, the other a broken wagon for a wild west game. The purpose of the test was to duplicate the style of the examples provided.

Alien Ninja Turtle: Final Painting
Okay, so here is the final version of my Alien Ninja Turtle. As explained in an earlier post, This Turtle like creature comes from a tribal race of tall, warrior aliens. I have enjoyed doing this painting. I could of gone crazy with the Idea that the new Turtles film would have alien ninja turtles as apposed to the mutant variety we all know and love. I chose to keep it more believable, and give the turtle a build more suited to a ninja that a shorter, heavier turtle/human we have seen before. Hope you enjoy.
Alien Ninja Turtle Colour: WIP.
Now this is getting close to the final image. I will add so texture and additional detail to this painting.

Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles
This post is inspired by the news that Michael Bay is producing the next Ninja Turtles film, and how everyone is outraged that he is going to make them Aliens instead of Mutants, and get rid of the 'teenage' part. So here I have a few designs on how he might change the designs to be more 'interesting and new'
1: Make the Turtles actual space Ninjas in Ninja costumes and futuristic goggles. The shell would actually be a broad shield the carry.
2: Make them have a metal space suit Armour as well as making them look more Turtle like.
3: Make them all elongated and tribal like, so its like they come from a race of green alien turtle like creatures. Again, the shell is just some body Armour/ storage. They would have a Lycra like costume with padding and some tribal body paint.
4: Shredder would be a Robot with parts of a living creature/ brain inside. ( like a Megatron/ General Grievous mix. )

Random End to 2011
Hi! Sorry I've been away so long, I promise it will never happen again. The end of 2011 was full of half contracts and freelance material I could post full on here, but here are a mix of unfinished images that I can show.
This new year I hope to do more dynamic compositions with more of a storytelling theme rather than full body posing as it seemed to be the majority of last year.
