Here are a few drawings of the father figure in the film, the greek god 'Apollo'. We were going for a traditional Statue-esqe figure for this character. larger than life but human enough for the audience to feel simpathetic for his situation

Here are some early Ink and pen Concepts I did for the character of Phaeton in the 'AIB' animated film 'SOL'. I tried to be more diverse in the choice of costume for Phaeton at the beggining, not just using the same old sterotypical Greecian clothes/robes/armour.
