I've used the painted version of my self portraits eyes as my New portfolio Banner. The self portrait isn't in my normal style because I was inspired by another artist's style. Will post the rest of the picture later.

Here is a pencilled version of a painted self portrait I'll be doing. I won't be spending hours on it as I want a quick painted look to it.

Random End to 2011

Hi! Sorry I've been away so long, I promise it will never happen again. The end of 2011 was full of half contracts and freelance material I could post full on here, but here are a mix of unfinished images that I can show.
This new year I hope to do more dynamic compositions with more of a storytelling theme rather than full body posing as it seemed to be the majority of last year.

I new re design for the commander suit concept. Combining elements of the three previous designs to the directors request.

Just a new illustrated title button for my portfolio homepage. It was looking a little boring just being text.

Here is another example of a personal birthday card to my friends and family. The joke is personal some most won't understand, but the visuals are comical and that is what matters.

Just a Quick Illustration of fan favorite 'Beast' from The X-Men. I was going to draw the modern Cat like beast, but was reminiscing my childhood Saturday mornings and getting up to watch X-men the Animated series, and decided to do classic blue Beast.

Long while since my last MoS post. Here are some WIP of hand held blade weapons and Battle suits.

Very Quickly done, I had to draw a Swordfish. Cliche' after cliche' ran through my head until just did It fighting a dead Pirate.

Another Month, Another Birthday. This one was to my lil' sister, A personal joke about Kermit the Frog carried over into this card I made for her.

Another Quick Dictionary Doodle, This time a Water Buffalo. I couldn't get the film Psycho Out of my head when doodling this piece.

This is my first Add to my friends 'Dictionary Doodle' A Blog spot that lets other artists interpret a theme of the day within an hour. ( usually letters of the alphabet and Animals) Today was a flying fox, which is a type of fruit bat, but how can you not think of Sonic's faithful friend, Tails, a flying fox.

Well, here are a few illustrations that I did for a potential employer that fell threw. The bottom one is my first attempt at their pre established main characters for a medical education comic book call 'Medikidz'. They seemed to like it at first and asked me to colour it in the style of the comic. Once I did that, they gave me some feedback on how I could change a few pieces, so they let me do another illustration (top) where the characters are just facing forward.

I think everyone had the same thought...'Oh my! Doesn't Westminster Abby look like the end of Star Wars: A New Hope' So I thought I'd whip up a quick photoshopped version of the event.

Just some silly Card designs with 'In jokes' for my friends and family.

Here is a little bit more work on the same walking Tank design. I little bit more lighter, with some textures added.

This is a Tank design project I was tasked to do recently. A futuristic tank design. A walker tank seemed to be the popular choice for 'Futuristic'-ness. Its stands on articulated armoured stilts with tracks on the end for the choice of it to roll along instead/more stability when firing the canon. The central column when extended, has several missiles and gun turrets at the base for closer targets. The canon is mounted on the top of the dome.

Been thinking about the show 'Farscape' recently and wanted to do some painting about it, here are some WIP. I'll come back to it later on.
